Today, it is the last visit in my beloved factory, which will be empty in a few days.

I remember the day, one of the most important days in my professional life, when I was to communicate the outplacement programme (professional career support programme) to a group of 300 employees since the factory was going to be closed.

I remember all the sad faces I was talking to about the programme. I told everyone not to worry as each of them was going to find a new job.

Today, when I visited the factory for the last time in order to meet the managers, there were still several dozen people there finalising the project. They were happy and calm. The transfer of technology had turned out to be a success. So had the whole project of closing the factory. The employees had been working until the very last day.
